2. What are your reasons for becoming certified according to OEKO-TEX®?

OEKO-TEX® certification assures us and our customers that our products are tested for harmful substances and manufactured under fair, safe conditions. Labels such as STANDARD 100, STeP, and MADE IN GREEN visibly demonstrate our commitment to sustainability, from individual products to entire production sites. This is not only a sales argument but also an expression of our values.

3. What are the benefits of the certification for you?

The strong recognition of the label reinforces consumer trust in our products. At the same time, we benefit internally: the audits offer valuable external insights, highlight potential areas for improvement, and motivate us to develop our processes continuously. They provide constructive impetus to keep striving for improvement.

Your Philosophy

6. What is your philosophy for manufacturing sustainable and high-quality products?

Getzner Textil is committed to ensuring that product development meets customer needs and protects people, the environment, and natural resources. Ecology and sustainability are core components of our corporate philosophy. Energy efficiency is of the utmost importance at Getzner Textil and is actively integrated into production processes. This is made possible by employing the latest technologies and through the ongoing modernisation and upgrading of existing facilities.

We use caustic recovery systems to promote resource-efficient production and harness energy from our hydropower and solar energy. As part of our environmental policy, we implement numerous projects, such as commissioning a district heating network in 2001. Smaller-scale initiatives include promoting environmentally friendly employee commuting and sponsoring a beehive on our premises.
