What is OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN?
OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN is a transparent and traceable product label for all textiles and leather products manufactured in environmentally friendly facilities under safe and socially responsible working conditions and tested for harmful substances. One prerequisite for MADE IN GREEN is that the product is tested for harmful substances and certified in accordance with the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 or OEKO-TEX® LEATHER STANDARD. To ensure that the textile or leather product has been manufactured using environmentally friendly processes. Under socially responsible working conditions, the production facilities must be certified in accordance with OEKO-TEX® STeP.
Traceability and transparent supply chain
The MADE IN GREEN label can be awarded to items from any production stage. The unique product ID or QR code on the label can be used to transparently trace the countries and production sites in which the article was manufactured.
