We are happy to announce, that OEKO-TEX® has redesigned their website and now offers a new „myOEKO-TEX“ platform for all certifications and applications.
New gas chromatography system at OETI.
OETI – Institute for Ecology, Technology and Innovation has set up its new sales subsidiary for OEKO-TEX® in Croatia. Consequently, OETI opens its third office in the Balkans region after having previously set up offices in Serbia and North Macedonia.
We are now able to test in-house the cut resistance of protective gloves based on EN 388:2016+A1:2018.

OETI now audits textile companies who want to obtain the V-label on behalf of the Vegan Society Austria. The first pilot project with OETI’s long-term customer Vossen, one of Europe’s leading terry products’ manufacturers, proved to be a success.

We are pleased to announce that, as of this fall, the OEKO-TEX® Association will introduce a new, standardised design for all brands within the OEKO-TEX® portfolio. This bold new design is currently in use with our MADE IN GREEN product label. This fall, we will achieve a consistently branded look with the design modification of both the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and the STeP by OEKO-TEX® certification.

Zurich (mh/hm) At the start of the year, the International OEKO-TEX® Association has, as usual, published the updated test criteria and limit values for product certification in accordance with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. The new regulations contained therein come definitely into force on 01 April 2016 for all certifications, following a three-month transition period.
Market tests from Austria, Germany and Switzerland show that manufacturers and traders label their sun-protective clothing with incorrect ultraviolet protection factors (UPF). This is due to a lack of harmonised and easy to understand labelling practices.
OETI pushes new product for a transparent textile supply chain Made in Green by OEKO-TEX® is the new label for textiles, which are sustainably produced and tested for harmful substances. OETI – as a founding member of the International OEKO-TEX® Association, a union of 16 renowned institutes for ecological textile research and testing – pushes along Made in Green in its target markets.
OETI certifies its first customer according to STeP. STeP stands for Sustainable Textile Production and is the new certification system of the internationally recognised OEKO-TEX® Association especially tailored to the needs of textiles companies.
