At the end of June, the OEKO-TEX® Association published two supplements to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 to add to its already existing product portfolio. In detail, these include a Supplement for “Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Materials for PPE (as well as for military garments and uniforms comparable with PPE)”, and an updated version of the long-standing Supplement for "Special Articles".

OETI: enlargement of textile chemicals testings The Institute for Ecology, Technology and Innovation GmbH (OETI), Vienna/Austria, broadens the testing program with the new Eco Passport certification for textile chemicals by the Oeko-Tex Association, Zurich/Switzerland. Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex offers textile chemical manufacturers a confidential and independent method to reassure their customers that chemicals, colorants and auxiliaries comply with the industry’s sustainability requirements and initiatives like ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals).
