OETI now audits textile companies who want to obtain the V-label on behalf of the Vegan Society Austria. The first pilot project with OETI’s long-term customer Vossen, one of Europe’s leading terry products’ manufacturers, proved to be a success.
Consumer protection and sustainability along the textile value chain have always been fundamental issues for the OEKO-TEX® Association. For this reason, the existing guidelines of the OEKO-TEX® product portfolio are updated at the beginning of each year.
When it comes to environmentally friendly production, the leather industry is still in its infancy. OEKO-TEX® new regulations 2019
At the start of the year, the OEKO-TEX® Association as usual updated the applicable test criteria and limit values for product certification in accordance with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
By decision of 22nd of September 2017 OETI is the first horizontal notified laboratory in Austria to carry out emission tests on construction products in accordance with CEN/TS 16516 (Construction products - Evaluation of the release of hazardous substances - Determination of emissions to indoor air) within the framework of the European Construction Products Regulation (EU Regulation No 305/2011).
