06.04.2022 ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX®: Effective 1 April 2023, self-assessment will become a mandatory part of certification
So far, the ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® certification consisted of a mandatory CAS number screening and laboratory analysis. The self-assessment and on-site inspection were voluntary. While the on-site inspection remains voluntary for the time being, the self-assessment will become mandatory in April 2023 for all customers who have not yet passed it for their production sites.

01.09.2021 OEKO-TEX® Annual Report 2020/2021: Companies‘ demand for MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® increases by 108%
The OEKO-TEX® association issued more than 31,000 certificates and labels in the past financial year, an increase of 31% compared to 2019/2020. Once again, MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® grew the most, doubling the number of labels. OEKO-TEX® also moved forward with its new Water and Carbon Footprint Tool.

10.08.2021 European requirements for testing and classification of the burning behavior of floor coverings - Just a little knowledge refresher during the summer:
Testing and assessment of reaction to fire performance of construction products (including, but not limited to, floor coverings) is uniformly regulated within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA), whereby the testing of floor coverings is in accordance with EN ISO 9239-1 (Radiant Panel Test) and / or EN ISO 11925-2 (Single Flame Test), and the classification is to be carried out in accordance with EN 13501-1.
