So far, the ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® certification consisted of a mandatory CAS number screening and laboratory analysis. The self-assessment and on-site inspection were voluntary. While the on-site inspection remains voluntary for the time being, the self-assessment will become mandatory in April 2023 for all customers who have not yet passed it for their production sites.
